8 years old Lucia grows up with her Latin American-born family in a Montreal\u2019s working-class neighborhood. She navigates this world nimbly, fascinated by insects and always searching for new talismans in wastelands. Between gambling games, that obsess her surroundings, her dissipated mother and her eccentric grandmother, Lucia tries to find her place in this colourful, mostly female family clan, which is not always ideal, for better or worse.<\/span><\/p>\n
